The SAIIE Awards honour and celebrate outstanding contributions to industrial engineering in Southern Africa. Winners will be announced in the following categories:

You are invited to join us at the prestigious 2022 SAIIE Awards & Gala Dinner that will take place on Thursday, 1 September 2022 at 18h30 at the Wallenberg Conference Centre @ STIAS, 10 Marais Street, Stellenbosch.     Prof André Roux was the Director of the Institute for Futures Research (IFR) at the University of Stellenbosch from 1996 to August 2015. André is now in the full-time employ of the US Business School, where he lectures on economics and is also the programme head for the School’s postgraduate programmes in Futures Studies. He also teaches on various executive education programmes in South Africa and, from time to time, in Australia, Mauritius, Namibia, Swaziland, Tanzania, Ghana and Nigeria. André is a visiting professor at Vlerick Business School (Belgium) and at the Beijing Business School (China). He is also a guest lecturer on post-graduate programmes at the School of Public Management (Stell) and the Post-graduate diploma in Managing HIV and AIDS in the work-place. André holds a PhD in Economics and is responsible for more than 150 popular publications; 1 book (13th edition); 6 chapters in scientific books; 10 publications in scientific journals; 25 papers presented at domestic and international conferences. He is a regular guest on radio and television programmes. He has supervised 6 PhD theses and more than 150 postgraduate students. Awarded prize for best lecturer at Business School (2016-2018).
